How do dvf wrap dresses fit

Does anyone know if there is a "faux" wrap DVF dress? I look better in wrap dresses are are faux fixed wrap rather than self wrapping dresses. Happylife, I was looking at that woman's blog, and also checking ebay stores, but I'm thinking I'd prefer to get one from a company I'm sure of.

I am so excited about the Julian I think I will wear it all the time. I'm thinking black, though part of me wants chocolate. I'm not sure yet which one. Chocolate is almost as versatile as black, but a bit warmer. Plumeria, I'm pretty sure I've seen faux wraps while I've been looking, but I could be wrong on that. On the DVF site there are only brown and black, but on ebay there are a variety of prints, some vintage.

That's the beauty of a wrap dress! I'm 5'6" too, with pretty long torso, so things tend to hit me a little higher then they do people with normal torso length. I also own a Julian wrap dress--mine is a green and black print from her "vintage" collection.

I actually didn't even realize it was silk until I read this thread and checked my tag--I had assumed it was cotton. I'm only 5'1, and I have very short legs, and the regular Julian was long on me--it hit me at about upper-middle calf.

I had to get it altered to knee length. I hadn't even known that a mini length existed--my guess is that it would work well for someone like me. I'm not sure how tall you are, though, so it's hard to really advise.

I'll have to check out this sale. Love this dress so much. The print makes this dress look like a top and skirt pair. Such a fabulous stripe pattern and color on the bottom.
