I have always wanted a Springfield M1A, but have no personal experience with the rifle. Do any of you who have fired both rifles have a preference?

I don't even own a gun I love my scout squad with walnut stock, but it's heavy as balls. I need to workout more. Armalite AR10 Defender 10 is a good way to go. I love mine!!
