Original poster's comments 2. My mum had a mini cooper when I had my first baby so I had to get something that would fit in her car. I found the Quinny Buzz was perfect the back wheels unclip and the seat comes off to fold it down anyway.

It fits neatly into the boot then. I liked it so much I ended up getting the quinny buzz extra with my second baby 8 years later! Babyzen yoyo and cybex eezy s twist is very small when folded. It's also cabin approved. I've got a new shape ka and we have settled on the oyster 3. I'm glad you've asked this, I'm in the same boat. My husband has a BMW with a huge boot and he's said he'll swap with me when needed but I don't like driving his car.

I had a fiat tiny boot and even umbrella fold pushchairs wouldn't fit as they were often too long in length. The only pram that would was the bugaboo bee and I have to say I could not recommend this pram more highly it was absolutely fabulous and so lightweight. I used to watch my friends wrestle with huge sophisticated prams getting them in the back of cars and mine was a one-fold-baby-on-hip-lightweight-one-hand effort - I loved it.

I have a stokke scoot. A little bigger folded up than the bugaboo bee but heavier as well. Bugaboo bee, armadillo flip xt Another one - I keep coming back to this one as it really is fantastic.

Buying a small car is a completely different situation as many of the options on the market have boots that are not designed for families. So we have put together a list of some of the best small cars with a boot big enough for prams.

This should help you whether you are a mum-to-be getting ready for the new arrival, or if you already have a pram but are looking to change your car. The contoured headlights and sporty radiator grille really set the car off. But this is also a MINI that is built with families in mind. It has four doors making it much easier to strap your children into their car seats, but what about the boot?

It is compact but comfortably fits prams from major brands, and it will easily accommodate any buggy.
